I have been working in the window and glazing industry for over 30 years. My career began in a window manufacturing factory where I learned the trade from the ground up. During this time I was involved in manufacturing a wide range of products including uPVC windows and doors, conservatory roofs, and even sealed glass units themselves.
This early hands-on experience gave me a deep understanding of how windows and doors are made, how they should perform, and what makes a quality product.
After leaving the factory, I moved into window repairs for a local company. Thanks to my knowledge of how the products were manufactured, I quickly developed a strong ability to diagnose problems and carry out effective repairs. I found this work both rewarding and satisfying, helping customers restore and improve their existing windows and doors.
Alongside my repair work, I was trained to install windows and doors to a very high standard. Since then, I have continued to build on my experience and knowledge every year. The glazing industry is constantly evolving with new technologies, products, and improved energy-efficient solutions, and I have always made sure to stay up to date and move with the times by continuing to learn and develop my skills.
Sam Osborne Glazing was founded to create something meaningful for my family. As a family-run business, my goal has always been to build a company that I can be proud of and one that provides opportunities for the future. My son has now been working alongside me for over a year and is improving all the time, learning the trade just as I did. My wife also plays an important role in the business, keeping the accounts and administration running smoothly behind the scenes.
As my family grows, my hope is that the business will grow with it — providing security, opportunities, and the chance to pass on the knowledge and experience I have built up over the past three decades.
At Sam Osborne Glazing, we keep things simple. We turn up when we say we will, we measure properly, and we fit everything with care. No overcomplicating, no pressure — just straightforward advice and solid workmanship.
We believe the small details matter. Clean lines, smooth operation, tight seals, and a tidy finish. That’s what makes the difference between an average job and one that lasts.
Good materials are important — but they’re only as good as the installation. That’s why we use trusted, CPA approved products and make sure everything is fitted properly and in line with current regulations.
We’re CERTASS registered, so you can be confident that our work meets recognised standards. And for added peace of mind, we back our installations with clear warranties.
We’re based in Worthing and work across West Sussex, helping homeowners and businesses with glazing projects of all sizes. A lot of our work comes through recommendations — which tells us we’re doing something right.
When you get in touch, you’re dealing directly with the people doing the work. That means clear communication, realistic timescales, and a job done properly from start to finish.
